Fundația Bosch România supports initiatives that meet the needs of refugees from Ukraine on medium and long term.
The effects of this emergency are likely to last and therefore it is important to centralize and coordinate all the dedicated initiatives to ensure that we meet the needs, not just for the moment.
Fundatia Bosch Romania funded the Task Force program, through which Code4Romania responds with digital solutions to emergencies and humanitarian crises, including the ecosystem of digital solutions developed within the context in Ukraine. This ecosystem helps to provide qualitative information on the current situation and effects of war, assistance in managing the critical needs of refugees, resources and capacity for local authorities, support for civil society and refugee in accessing available services.
Children and mothers who have left Ukraine are among the most vulnerable. For them it is important to be safe, to have stability for a longer period of time. Thus, we got involved in supporting the Emergency Fund dedicated to children from Ukraine runned by SOS Children’s Villages Romania. Refugee children and their mothers are hosted in the 3 SOS villages in Bucharest, Cisnadie and Bacau, receiving hot meals and all the necessities of daily living, as well as social and psychological counseling and educational support.
