The second edition of the “United 4 Children” project is launched to support day care centers in Romania

Together with the Humanitarian Organization CONCORDIA, we announce the launch of the second edition of the “United 4 Children” project dedicated to supporting day care centers in Romania, which provide social, educational and support services for children from vulnerable families, through the National Network of Day Care Centers. The Humanitarian Organization CONCORDIA established this Network in 2021, a common voice of day care centers, which today has 186 centers, all of which help over 10,000 children from 30 counties in Romania.

The objectives of the “United 4Children” project aim to prevent family and school abandonment, develop quality integrated social services in the community, as well as support the establishment of day care centers in disadvantaged communities in rural and urban areas. Through these centers, children benefit from educational support and care adapted to their needs.

The total budget allocated through the “United 4 Children” Project is 49,770 lei and is addressed to day care centers that are members of the National Day Care Centers Network, throughout Romania. Applicants can request funding ranging from 2,500 lei to a maximum of 9,954 lei per project, in order to fully or partially cover the value of the proposed activities. Projects must have an implementation period between 1 month and 6 months, and applicants can also submit projects in public-public, private-private or public-private partnerships. The microgrants aim to support the activity of Day Care Centers and increase their capacity.

The microgrants financing program for the National Day Care Centers Network, edition 2025, is implemented by the Humanitarian Organization CONCORDIA and supported by Fundația Bosch România.
